The Collector's Edition was published in 1971, is larger, more durable but, does not the have a new introduction and two pamphlets that are out of print ("'Roads To Health And Happiness" includes writings by Teresa Mitchell and "'The Definite Cure of Chronic Constipation"). Many people buy both.

What are mucuslean and a transition diet?
A mucuslean diet is when you are not following the Mucusless Diet Healing System completely. It gives the body an opportunity to become mucusless without the shock of going too fast. It is a way to stay with or return to a Mucusless life. Ehret said "you may slip back, don't worry and continue to strive for better health". A transition diet is when you are eating more and more mucuslean and less and less "'poison" as you are transitioning into a complete mucusless diet. It can take a transition diet a long time and much dedication to rid the body of accumulated waste and mucus. Please remember that Ehret is not just about food but also about a way of fasting, exercising, eating, and living.
Where is Teresa Mitchell?
We have no information on her although we believe she has passed. She came to the United States shortly after World War I. She was born in Hungary. She was a contemporary of Fred Hirsch, Ehret's associate. In my many meetings with Fred I never asked him about Theresa, something I regret.
Where can I get a copy of Thomas Powell, MD's book "Fundamentals and Requirements of Health and Disease" in three parts (1909)?
We have some hard cover copies available. Powell had a close connection to Ehret. Please inquire.

How do I login to the Bulletin Board in order to have it record my name and email address properly?
First time users select New Users - Register For An Account. Choose a unique password and login that you can easily remember. Do not use the general Ehret Club login and password number you used to login to the Club Site. The Club Login and Password change every three months and all members use this information to log on to the private Club Site. You need to register for your own account and choose your own individual Username and password which will allow you to post messages to the Bulletin Board and receive email if you wish. The bulletin board needs your unique information (Username and Password) in order to post and respond to your messages correctly.

Read the latest Newsletter for information. We also send you timely updates and additional items of interest to Club Members. Members may search the bulletin board by date or by keywords, whatever you prefer.

If the issue is not of a direct medical nature and time allows we will try to respond. We do not guarantee we can. The Club bulletin board and Newsletter is where to go as they are for networking with others to exchange Ehret questions and experiences.
What happens when I join the Club and place a book order?
When we receive and verify your order information we will send you a welcome e-mail with Club information and notify you when your Club kit will be mailed. If you are placing a book order with your new membership you must go back into the website and place your order separately from the membership. Two separate orders are necessary because the system cannot recognize you as a member until your kit mailing notice is sent. However, we will manually recognize you as a new member and give you the Club discount and free postage on your initial order if received within 24 hours of your membership order. Members do not pay handling charges. On the book order it is only necessary to fill in your order and your name.
How do I enter the Bulletin board and the Chat Room?
This information will be in your welcome e-mail.

SECURITY FAQ:

How do we secure your credit card and personal information?
It is encrypted when your order is placed. You will note that at checkout when clicking on "Secure Credit Card Order" the top blue line will change to Secure Server. At checkout - Microsoft Internet Explorer and HTTP will change to HTTPS (the S on the end means your order is in a secure encrypted site). To capture your order we use a secure gateway connection from Authorize.net. They check with your card company about your card's number and expiration date and if money is available. If everything is fine they notify us and our bank, JP Morgan Chase. This takes only a second. For more information about Authorize.net please go to their website www.authorize.net and click on "about us".
How are documents that are not filed disposed of?
They are confetti shredded.
How is my privacy protected?
We do not sell, trade, or give away customer information to anyone. As a networking organization we do give active Club member's information to other active Club members. Active Club members can request limited lists of other Club members. This would be limited to only name, postal and email addresses. We do not give out phone numbers. Members can opt out of the network on request.

ABOUT EHRET FAQ

How do I learn more about Arnold Ehret and his teachings?
A good place for members to start is to review the materials in our on-line library on the Club Site. We have published a substantial amount of material here at this Free Public Site (www.arnoldehret.org) for non-members. Once you have joined the club and have your password, you are welcome to ask your questions to all the members by using the Club Bulletin Board or The Chat Room. Professor Ehret's Books are available on-line. Members receive an additional Club Member discount.
Where and when was Ehret born?
Ehret was born in a suburb of Freiburg, Germany on July 29, 1866. We have his original birth certificate.
How and where did Ehret die?
He died leaving his lecture on the Mucusless Diet Healing System in Los Angeles, California about 11 PM on October 10, 1922 although his death certificate says October loth . He was 56 years old. According to Fred Hirsch, his associate who was with Ehret when he died, Ehret was in excellent health. He died by slipping and falling backward causing a basal fracture which caused instant death. The night was dark, misty and the smooth curb was damp. He could have been distracted talking to a woman who had attended the lecture. Fred did not know the woman. Fred Hirsch is listed on Ehret's death certificate as informant. Fred died in 1979.
Did Ehret write an autobiography as some claim?
According to Fred Hirsch, Ehret did not write or dictate an autobiography. A fact that causes doubt that a supposed book is an autobiography is that Ehret was a writer. Why would he need a "ghost" to write for him? Fred did not have any knowledge of Ehret every dictating a book on his life to anyone. It appears that the book is fiction.
I am not sure about Ehret's fasting program?
If you have little experience with fasting you need to start slowly, perhaps one or at most a two day fasts until you know how your body responds. You also need to determine what you will use with your fast - plain water, water with lemon and/or honey, a few grapes or something else. Let your body tell you how it is responding. Often it is a quick diagnosis procedure with two to three fasts a month for a month or two. However. it could take a little longer. The number of fasts per month depends on you and how you feel. As your body become comfortable and you start to feel invigorated you can increase the fasting days or frequency, but don't go too fast. You will probably see some mucus in your bowel movements, a good sign.
Was Jesus mentioned in Ehret's writings?
Not to our knowledge. We have had most of Ehret's material read to us in an abbreviated fashion and we found no reference to Jesus. We do have a document hand written by Ehret, born Catholic, called "Religion" that has not been translated. We also have a copy of two pages of a letter Ehret sent to the Pope about the dietary requirements of the church when he left the church. Translations, a massive effort, are on hold until we find a person who is familiar with Ehret, can translate "Old German" written with a scratch pen.
What happened to Ehret's belongings when he died?
We have all of Ehret's personal documents (including his birth certificate), his library, his pictures and the like. We received them from Fred Hirsch. Ehret cured Fred; they became friends and worked together. Fred was with Ehret when he died from a fall when leaving a lecture.
